Change Has Come to Cameroon: Project C Calls for Respect for the People’s Will

Project C joins the people of Cameroon in marking a truly historic milestone.
All evidence from polling stations in Cameroon and around the world suggests that the country is on the threshold of a new era—a Third Republic. Mr. Issa Tchiroma Bakary is projected to win the 2025 presidential race.
Project C applauds efforts by citizens to secure their vote and prevent post-electoral fraud.
At this critical juncture, Project C calls upon the outgoing president, Paul Biya and his administration, to respect the will of the people and prepare a peaceful transition of power, even as the nation awaits the proclamation of results by the Constitutional Council.
We further call on all candidates to honor this decisive moment, acknowledge the expressed will of the people, and congratulate the projected winner of the election—Mr. Issa Tchiroma.
This is a new page in our national history, turned by the collective will of the people. We urge all institutions —ELECAM, the Constitutional Council, the police, and the military — to respect the will of the people of Cameroon and to safeguard the integrity and peace of this transition.
